PODMORES developed a special conveying system to handle munitions for a global company who develop, deliver and support advanced defence, security and aerospace systems. The company has major operations in five continents, with customers and partners in over a 100 countries around the world.

Andrew Gough, Managing Director for PODMORES said: “Our customer creates over a 100 new inventions every year and we are proud to develop materials handling equipment that makes the manufacturing of these inventions and handling of products possible. We have a wealth of experience in handling munitions and developing bespoke equipment for special projects such as this conveying system and enjoy the challenges these projects bring.”

Other than conveying systems, PODMORES has supplied Sound Enclosures, Bowl Feeders, Step Feeders, Spiral Elevators and Linear Feeders to handle bullet tips, brass cartridge, shells and cases at various stages of the manufacturing process.
