Build to Print
Outsourcing the manufacture of components for spares or even full machines can be a cost effective and efficient solution for many companies.
What Is built to print?
Build to print is the process of building/manufacturing a part, machine or system to an approved drawing or drawing pack. It essentially removes the design stage of a ‘build to specification’ project.
Build to print is fantastic for customers who require additional support with the manufacturing of specific components, whether it is because they don’t have in-house manufacturing capabilities or they require additional support from time to time. Podmores offers a build to print service utilising our in-house team of specialists. We can also offer further support for customers requiring upgrades and modernisation for outdated systems, recommissioning and installing on site as part of our refurbishment capabilities.
Our capabilities include:
- Machine parts
- EOAT (End of arm tools)
- Frameworks and supports
- Full machines
- Control panels
- Electrical subassemblies
Podmores can manufacture components or full machines using our existing equipment and expertise, allowing customers to streamline core business operations.
We can enter into a confidentiality agreement (CA)/non disclosure agreement (NDA) with you if you need to protect your IP. That’s why we can’t show you many projects that we’ve undertaken for our clients.
Our design, fabrication, and machine shops teams are all based under one roof at our factory, offering a reliable and efficient service.
Our experts can reverse engineer equipment where original or up to date specifications are not available.
As part of our range of build to print services, we can update drawings, manuals, and bill of materials (BOM) to ensure our customers have access to the latest specifications for their machines.
All equipment we manufacture is subjected to the most stringent safety certifications, including CE marking, UKCA, ATEX, and UL/CSA to suit our international customers.
Our specialist after sales team can offer service level agreements and spares packages, depending on your individual requirements. We can also offer onsite diagnostic support for systems, including third-party equipment.
We can assess all types of existing equipment to identify the potential for increased efficiency, reliability, and connectivity within the entire production line.
