Podmores refurbishes a heavy duty vibratory conveyor for a leading chemicals company that has been in the business of catalysis, precious metals, fine chemicals and process technology for almost 200 years. The heavy duty vibratory conveyor was supplied by Podmores over 20 years ago and designed to handle platinum ore. The equipment is still one of the most critical pieces of equipment in our customer’s manufacturing process.
After a recent service issue in our customer’s manufacturing plant the company decided to plan a schedule of work with Podmores and built up extra stock before the machine was removed for refurbishment. Podmores understands that it is extremely important to ensure turn around in the agreed time to maintain production in the plant. This request was achieved with no interruption to the plants overall output. The refurbished heavy duty vibratory conveyor is now performing as its original specification whilst also potentially extending its life for a further 20 years.
