Podmores supplies an innovative Linear Screen Feeder to the world’s foremost nutrition, health and wellness company. With well known brands and products in the food, beverage, confectionery and nutrition segments, our customer employs approximately 7,000 people in the UK and Ireland.
With the growing market and demand for one of our customers leading brands, Podmores developed a Linear Screen Feeder to handle and grade fruit gums. The Linear Screen Feeder grades the fruit gums removing the oversize and under-size products leaving the bulk of the “in-spec” product ready for the next process. Podmores bespoke equipment consists of precisely engineered bar screens which allow the graded product to be discarded in 3 different chutes, so that the required product size is obtained. This is the largest screen feeder supplied by Podmores, in addition to other equipment acquired by this customer in the past 20 years.
