Podmores supplies spiral elevators and a bespoke depositing & coating system to abrasive companies in the business of sanding blocks, sanding pads, cutting and sanding discs, bonded abrasives, among others.
The bespoke system includes a spiral elevator that feeds grit onto an abrasive product and two linear conveyors that screen and recycle the excess grit. The excess grit is then conveyed to the spiral elevator ready to deposit grit onto the next batch of products being manufactured. The controlled deposit rate gives an even coating to the product. Podmores has supplied several solutions and equipment to handle grit to the abrasive industry for over 30 years.
