Podmores have manufactured a Sprinkling System capable of spreading a variety of products onto cakes and cereal bars. The system is a standard Podmores spreader system featuring a small bulk hopper feeder, distributing feeder and finally the spreader feeder. The entire unit is on wheels and is manufactured to slide over the existing production belt conveyor.Â
A simple laning device was fitted at the outlet to enable optimum topping and minimal wastage as product is guided into the right path.
The system was comissioned by one of the UK’s leading cereal and confectionary  manufacturers to allow them to develop new products using largely existing machinery. This sort of job is becoming increasingly popular, with Podmores able to build a bespoke piece of equipment specifically for customers.
This bespoke system was specially designed for this application but similar systems can also be developed to handle products for the following industries: aerospace, automotive, chemicals, cosmetics, electronics, food & beverage, medical & biotech, military, mining, packaging, pharmaceutical, plastics & recycling.
