Counting mini pork pies
This Podmores automated counting system for pork pies deposits exact quantities of pork pies into boxes on a conveyor line below at a rate of 125 pork pies per chute per minute (max throughput 500 pies/minute).
The bespoke system was designed, manufactured and installed by Podmores and comprises:
1 x Vibratory Hopper Feeder for infeed storage
1 x Flighted Belt Elevator with hygienic design features
1 x Diverter chute
2 x Twin flight Conical Bowl Feeders to sort the pork pies
4 x Takeaway Conveyors
4 x Counting Chutes to store a batch of pork pies
1 x Indexing Belt Conveyor to move the boxes
