A fully automatic Podmores infeed system for frozen raw sausages, comprising:

1) Bulk hopper elevators for storage.
2) Rotary Bowl Feeders.
3) Vision Inspection System with reject.
4) Shuttle mechanism to create batches of 1, 2, 3 or 4 sausages.
5) Release mechanism to gently deposit the batch of sausages into trays pre-filled with liquid batter.
6) Full control system and safety guarding.

This system is also suitable for frozen cooked sausages, fresh uncooked sausages and fresh cooked sausages. It can also be adapted for feeding robot pick & place lines and other automated machinery that requires either a continuous feed of sausages, or pre-counted batches.
