Automated depositing system to place an individual plastic pot of flavoured dip into a plastic tray ahead of flow wrapping. The system comprises a hopper elevator for bulk storage, a conical vibratory bowl feeder that sorts the pots into the same orientation and finally a chute with release mechanism to release an individual product on demand. A photoelectric sensor detects the trays passing below and automatically drop the pot without any operator assistance. Level detection in the hopper alerts operators to top up as needed.
