Podmores has been supplying equipment to Cannon Plastics, a company established in 1973 and a specialist in screen printing plastic bottles, aerosol caps, metal anodised cosmetic components and injection moulded closures, for over 20 years. The first item installed was a bowl feeder that is still in daily use some 19 years later and the latest addition to their production line is a Podmores bottle un-scrambler that feeds bottles to their main four color printer.

Podmores have developed an infeed system to prepare short emery boards for individual packaging. The system lines up two emery boards side by side and when the bagging machine is ready for them it discharges both emery boards into the vertical form, fill and seal machine.

Podmores have developed a bespoke Bowl Feeder to handle a new design of easy-open plastic lids, soon to enter the market place for a leading high street retailer. The bespoke Bowl Feeder system developed by Podmores includes a hopper unloader and a vibratory bowl feeder capable of feeding two sizes of plastic lid onto an induction capping machine with sensors to link the two elements together.

Podmores supplies an innovative system to count pastilles and chewing gum pillows to a packaging specialist in filling of sachets, bottles and tubes.

The system comprises two main elements; the first is a pair of bowl feeders providing a constant supply of product to the second part of the system which handles the empty cardboard cores and holds them ready for the plastic bungs to be inserted.
